Captured Celebrations at Bridal Expo 2023: Creating Lasting Memories

Captured Celebrations joined the Bridal and Wedding Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center on September 24, 2023. It was our first major trade event — and the opportunity to introduce the audio guestbook alongside our photo booth lineup to engaged couples across Southern California.

What We Showcased

Audio Guestbook — A New Kind of Keepsake

The audio guestbook was the centerpiece of our expo presence. Rather than a signed paper book, guests at the wedding pick up a vintage handset and record a voice message — stories, blessings, advice, and laughter that no written note can capture.

For couples who have never seen an audio guestbook in person, the expo was a chance to experience it firsthand: hear the quality, understand the format, and imagine what their grandparents' voices would sound like recorded the night of their wedding.

We brought live demos of our booth lineup so couples could try different setups:

• Open-air photo booth — instant prints with custom wedding templates
• Retro Mirror Photo Booth — full-length touchscreen experience
• Glam booth — studio-quality portraits with polished lighting

Complete Memory Packages

We introduced combined photo booth and audio guestbook packages — giving couples a way to capture both visual and audio memories from their wedding in a coordinated experience.

What the Expo Represented

Attending a bridal expo in year one meant showing up in a space dominated by established vendors and competing on the quality of the actual product rather than name recognition. Couples who visited our booth could try the equipment, ask direct questions about bilingual service, and see custom template examples.

The conversations we had at that expo — about quinceañeras, about Latino family traditions, about what couples actually wanted from a photo booth versus what the industry typically offered — shaped how we continued building Captured Celebrations.
