Behind the Scenes: Preparing for the Bridal Expo

The California Bridal & Wedding Expo is one of the most significant showcases in the Los Angeles wedding industry. Captured Celebrations will be at Booth 302 on September 22, 2024 at the Los Angeles Convention Center — South Hall G, 1201 South Figueroa St.

Here is what we are preparing and why we put this much effort into a single show.

What We Are Bringing

Live Photo Booth Demos

Couples will be able to step into the open-air photo booth and try it themselves — different backdrops, instant prints, and digital sharing. The Retro Mirror Photo Booth will be running as well, so attendees can experience the touchscreen interface and see what printed strips actually look like from our setup.

Flower Wall and Shimmer Backdrop

Our flower wall and shimmer wall displays show couples exactly what these additions look like in practice — not in a catalog photo, but in person, with proper lighting and scale.

Audio Guestbook Experience

Attendees can pick up the vintage handset and leave a message. It is the only way to really understand what this experience is like. Seeing it described on a website is not the same as holding the phone in your hand.

Personalized Consultations

Liz will be available for conversations about specific weddings — venue, aesthetic, guest count, cultural traditions, bilingual service needs. The expo is a chance to answer real questions in a real conversation rather than through email threads.

Why Preparation Matters

Everything at the booth gets tested before the show: the mirror's touchscreen, audio guestbook recording quality, print output from the photo booth, backdrop stability, and lighting balance. Tony handles technical verification. We do not show up at a bridal expo with equipment we have not confirmed is performing perfectly.

The preparation behind the scenes is the same preparation we bring to every event. What couples see at the expo is what they get on their wedding day.
